Zvosec, Wilson & Lansing Fill Us In
(St. Louis, MO) – It is college basketball tournament time. March Madness is here, the NIT will be filling up, but this year we see the emergence of ‘The Basketball Classic’. This is the former CollegeInsider.com Tournament. It has been re-branded and brought back from a covid-pause and with a new and different mission.
Our friends Rich Zvosec, Marcus Wilson and Greg Lansing are members of The Basketball Classic selection committee. They are helping this tournament get re-energized. Sponsored by ERacism, this tournament is simultaneously about getting mid-major programs a post season opportunity and also carrying a social justice initiative. ERACISM (eracism4ever.com) has done some great work in speaking about inequity in the sports world and in general society.
This tournament no longer charges teams to participate or to host a game. It has become more accessible for teams to participate.
