Bringing Arch Madness to St. Louis

The Big 550’s Brendan Wiese

(St. Louis, MO) – For the tenth straight season KTRS radio is bringing Arch Madness to St. Louis. The Big 550’s Brendan Wiese joined ‘Voices of the Valley‘ to tell us about the station’s commitment and passion to support and broadcast Missouri Valley Conference content.

KTRS will broadcast all eleven Arch Madness contests, complete with pregame shows, half-time content and outstanding announcers. Fans will hear Wiese,  Hall-of-Famer Bob Ramsey and St. Louis sports icon Frank Cusumano on the call. Well known Valley announcers Kevin Lehman and Rich Zvosec will add expert in-game analysis.

The Big 550 brings Valley content to the Gateway City each Monday night of the basketball season with coaches’ interviews and MVC reports.

I haven't heard, nor do I know, how does this apply to the typical 'foreign' basketball player that is most often over 19?

Obviously, this is a sentimental and not a ‘spreadsheet’ notion, but would hate to see @MVCsports change the #ArchMadness format from the traditional ‘family reunion’ feel by cutting teams from the experience. #FatherHarry

Congrats to @ISURedbirdGolf. T.J. Barger sets a school record. Pietro Pontiggia records the Redbirds' second-ever top 20 finish at a regional. The team finishes tent in the region which is tied for the program's best regional finish! #FatherHarry
