Our Annual Visit to Understand Bracketology
(St. Louis, MO) – Arch Madness is one week away and March Madness is three weeks away. Bracketeer Rocco Miller joined the our live Podcast to help us understand how teams are selected and placed into the NCAA Tournament’s final bracket. Miller routinely finishes among the national leaders in predicting the field of 68 and loves to help us understand the process.
His site, bracketeer.org is filled with information and insights about the process. Miller is a part of the ‘Mock Selection Committee’ shows and the ‘Fielding the 68’ program all to give us understanding. In Rocco’s latest bracket, he has Belmont as a seven seed facing Alabama. He predicts Southeast Missouri as a ‘First Four’ participant in Dayton, Ohio.
Both Belmont and SEMO are ‘place holders’ for the Missouri Valley and Ohio Valley Conferences. Neither league expects to receive more than one bid to ‘The Big Dance’.
Missouri would also be a ‘First Four’ participant against former Drake head coach Darian DeVries’ Indiana Hoosiers.
We asked Miller about the high-end possibilities for Saint Louis University, prior to their its Tuesday night loss at Dayton. Tuesday’s win by Morehead State pushed the Eagles into first place in the OVC.
