Morehead State in the Bubble
(St. Louis, MO) – Morehead State’s basketball team has made the trek to Indianapolis, they’re in the bubble and preparing to meet West Virginia on Friday. Coach Preston Spradlin joined us Sunday night after finding out who they would play. While the Eagles are making their first trip to the Big Dance in a decade, they are coming in with great confidence.
We discussed his relationship with Kentucky coach John Calipari, how his team is preparing for the tournament and about some of his key contributors. Oh, and we were interrupted by room service!
The Eagles (23-7) were the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament champions and have been setting Morehead State records all season. West Virginia coach Bob Huggins has won 899 career coaching decisions and this year’s team is 18-9.
