The Latest on Art Hains

His Son Chris Joins the Podcast

(St. Louis, MO) – Hall of fame broadcaster Art Hains has been side-lined by West Nile Virus. We invited his son Chris to join us and tell us the latest on Art Hains.

Art is the ‘voice of Missouri State sports’ and the studio host of the Kansas City Chiefs radio network. In addition that, Art is a good friend. Since September he has been in a battle to recover from an attack that nearly took his life. He is recovering, but very slowly.

Chris has been the family spokesman and has been generous with his time and once again on Friday, opened to door to us so we could know the latest on our respected colleague. Here is the video from our live podcast.

Here is our entire conversation.

I haven't heard, nor do I know, how does this apply to the typical 'foreign' basketball player that is most often over 19?

Obviously, this is a sentimental and not a ‘spreadsheet’ notion, but would hate to see @MVCsports change the #ArchMadness format from the traditional ‘family reunion’ feel by cutting teams from the experience. #FatherHarry

Congrats to @ISURedbirdGolf. T.J. Barger sets a school record. Pietro Pontiggia records the Redbirds' second-ever top 20 finish at a regional. The team finishes tent in the region which is tied for the program's best regional finish! #FatherHarry
