Significant OVC Signings

SIUE & SEMO Add Talent

(St. Louis, MO) – Significant OVC signings keep rolling in. After Tuesday’s announcement by Lindenwood of the signing of 6’10 Maine transfer Milos Nenadic, SIUE & SEMO are adding more talent.

Oral Roberts transfer Darius Robinson joins the OVC tournament champion Southern Illinois Edwardsville. The 6’1 guard averaged 7.4 points during his one season with ORU. Robinson spent two highly productive seasons in junior college. During his sophomore season with Casper College, he averaged 18.4 points per game.

SEMO has landed talented James Madison transfer Will Lovings-Watts. He was the State of Indiana’s 19th rated player during his senior year of high school and landed on the MAC all-freshman team during his one season at Northern Illinois. Lovings-Watts played just 13 games for Preston Spradlin’s JMU squad. SEMO won the OVC regular season title.

I haven't heard, nor do I know, how does this apply to the typical 'foreign' basketball player that is most often over 19?

Obviously, this is a sentimental and not a ‘spreadsheet’ notion, but would hate to see @MVCsports change the #ArchMadness format from the traditional ‘family reunion’ feel by cutting teams from the experience. #FatherHarry

Congrats to @ISURedbirdGolf. T.J. Barger sets a school record. Pietro Pontiggia records the Redbirds' second-ever top 20 finish at a regional. The team finishes tent in the region which is tied for the program's best regional finish! #FatherHarry
