The OVC on ESPNU

Expansive Television Package

(St. Louis, MO) – ESPN platforms will be filled with Ohio Valley Conference action and six regular season dates will find the OVC on ESPNU. While over 200 basketball games will be on ESPN+, the linear broadcasts will include a ‘wild-card’ format of games.

A rematch of last year’s OVC Tournament championship game (January 16) is the only pre-determined game. It will be an 11:00 a.m. tip as Tennessee State hosts Morehead State.

The Tigers are the preseason favorites to claim this year’s regular season title and Morehead was picked to finish in a three-way tie for third place. Southeast Missouri was picked to finish second.

While five of the games will feature men’s games, the February 27th OVC on ESPNU game will include a women’s contest.

Evansville will host its tenth straight OVC championship tournament. Both the men’s and women’s tournaments will be played at Ford Center. Those games will be seen on ESPN+ with the men’s championship game likely being aired on ESPN2.
