Shockers Land Grady

(St. Louis, MO) – Gregg Marshall just added a new weapon to his arsenal. Graduate transfer and all-Horizon League power forward Anton Grady has signed on to play is final season with the nationally ranked Shockers.

The 6’8″, 215 pound power forward averaged 14.3 points and 7.9 rebounds a game while playing for Cleveland State. He was also named to the Horizon League’s all-defensive team.

Verbalcommits.com lists him as a three star performer and goshockers.com says he was the fourth highest rated player in the state of Ohio when entering college.

Gregg Marshall told goshockers.com, “Anton certainly fills a need within our program with the departure of Darius Carter. He can score the ball inside and out, is a relentless rebounder, and is also a very good defensive player. We feel like his maturity along our front line will be very beneficial.”

I haven't heard, nor do I know, how does this apply to the typical 'foreign' basketball player that is most often over 19?

Obviously, this is a sentimental and not a ‘spreadsheet’ notion, but would hate to see @MVCsports change the #ArchMadness format from the traditional ‘family reunion’ feel by cutting teams from the experience. #FatherHarry

Congrats to @ISURedbirdGolf. T.J. Barger sets a school record. Pietro Pontiggia records the Redbirds' second-ever top 20 finish at a regional. The team finishes tent in the region which is tied for the program's best regional finish! #FatherHarry
