The Eagles will battle the UConn Huskies in Storrs, Conn., on Thursday, Nov. 8 and will play in the Carrier Dome at Syracuse on Saturday, Nov. 10. Game times will be announced later. Morehead State played at UConn in 2005-06. MSU has played Syracuse twice, once being in the 1983 NCAA Tournament at Syracuse and the other in 1987-88 at the Carrier Dome as well.

The subregional round will take place at Eastern Washington where the Eagles will take on UMKC (Missouri-Kansas City) on Nov. 16. Eastern Washington and Green Bay will also be in Cheney, Wash. with the subregional championship and consolation games on Nov. 17. I haven't heard, nor do I know, how does this apply to the typical 'foreign' basketball player that is most often over 19?

Obviously, this is a sentimental and not a ‘spreadsheet’ notion, but would hate to see @MVCsports change the #ArchMadness format from the traditional ‘family reunion’ feel by cutting teams from the experience. #FatherHarry

Congrats to @ISURedbirdGolf. T.J. Barger sets a school record. Pietro Pontiggia records the Redbirds' second-ever top 20 finish at a regional. The team finishes tent in the region which is tied for the program's best regional finish! #FatherHarry
