Coaches vs Cancer Championship Day!

(St. Louis, MO) – The Coaches vs Cancer Holiday Tournament championship day is finally here! Top seeded St. Mary’s (10-0) battles third seeded St. Louis U High (10-3) tonight at Meramec Community College. The Dragons have never won the tournament that has gone by several different names since its inception in 1978, and the Junior Billikens haven’t taken home the trophy since 1982.

Junior Antonio Burks led the Dragons into the final with a 17 point, 10 rebound performance as St. Mary’s had to come from behind to defeat Hazelwood Central 64-58.

I haven't heard, nor do I know, how does this apply to the typical 'foreign' basketball player that is most often over 19?

Obviously, this is a sentimental and not a ‘spreadsheet’ notion, but would hate to see @MVCsports change the #ArchMadness format from the traditional ‘family reunion’ feel by cutting teams from the experience. #FatherHarry

Congrats to @ISURedbirdGolf. T.J. Barger sets a school record. Pietro Pontiggia records the Redbirds' second-ever top 20 finish at a regional. The team finishes tent in the region which is tied for the program's best regional finish! #FatherHarry
