Three Stars from the Valleys

(St. Louis, MO) – Established players are establishing even greater accomplishments in this week’s edition of ‘Three Stars from the Valleys.’

Seth Tuttle has had a great career at Northern Iowa, where he is one of only 24 players in Missouri Valley Conference history to record 1,500 points (1,560) and 800 rebounds (825). This week, the senior from Sheffield, Iowa scored a career high 29 points in the Panthers’ win over 12th ranked Wichita State and recorded a double-double against Southern Illinois. With those victories, UNI moved into a first place tie with Wichita.

Seth Jackson has had a great career at Truman State, where he is the fourth all-time leading scorer (1,448). This week, the senior from CBC High School (St. Louis) scored a career high 42 points in the Bulldogs win over Drury and 20 in TSU victory against Missouri S & T. With those victories, Truman moved into a first place tie with Drury, in the Great Lakes Valley’s East Division.

Evan Bradds has had a great beginning to a career at Belmont University where on four occasions he was named the Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week. This week the sophomore from Jamestown, Ohio recorded a career high 18 rebounds in the Bruins’ win over Jacksonville State and averaged 18.5 points in Belmont’s two triumphs. Belmont leads the OVC’s East Division by two games.
