(St. Louis, MO) – Valley Hoops Insider is excited to announce a video interview series this weekend! ‘Voices of the Valley’ will be broadcast live on the site, and then will be archived here for future viewing.
We invited play-by-play announcers and beat writers from around the league to weigh in and tell us their stories, and share their memories about this grand conference. The Missouri Valley Conference has a rich history and these men happen to be the carriers of that history.
From the relatively brand new Loyola Ramblers involvement through their play-by-play guy John Fitzgerald, to veteran beat writers like Dave Reynolds and Paul Suellentrop, we’re gaining a great perspective on some of the legendary moments in Valley history.
At least three of the broadcasters are also graduates from the institution where they broadcast games. Several of our guests are members of multiple halls of fame, and award winning writers and broadcasters.
Guys from the Valley’s TV package will join us too. Mitch “the Voice of the Valley” Holthus, Mark (@enthusiadams) Adams and John Rooney will chime in. We’re grateful for the willingness of so many to join us on ‘Voices of the Valley’.
We’re grateful to MVC Associate Commissioner Mike Kern, who paved the way for this show to take place live at Scottrade Center.
